The driver is a controlled source and generator of short pulses for a low-power narrow-band laser diode with distributed feedback in a butterfly-type housing. The driver can operate in continuous, pulse and mixed modes. In the pulse mode, it can be both a receiver and a source of an electric sync signal. It contains a built-in thermoelectric cooler controller (TEK), which provides precision thermostatic radiator. Built-in external locking function. It is controlled via a personal computer through a unified interface, thanks to the attached software.
* Due to the complex processes of the formation of an inverse population and the development of laser generation in a semiconductor laser, the duration of the formation of an optical pulse may differ significantly for semiconductor lasers of different models and manufacturers. The duration of the optical pulse is fixed and depends on the diode model.
